SUNDAY SCHOOL / BIBLE STUDY / PRAYER
Sunday School: Sundays at 9:45 a.m.
Bible study for all ages
Sunday Night In-Depth: Sundays at 6 p.m.
In-depth bible study focusing on theological themes, spiritual depth and wrestling with questions and doubt.
Prayer Meeting: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Small group intercession prayer for both church and world needs.
Young Adult Bible Study: Alternating Fridays at 6 p.m.
Young married couples and singles gather for a meal and Bible study. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., with the study at 7 p.m. Nursery is provided.
Men’s Group: Weeknights TBD
Men enjoy a time to talk, eat, pray together, and often watch a video series.
Women on a Mission
Women’s monthly group meeting to study issues on world missions.
ADULT SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
Ladies Pajama Parties
Pajama parties for adult women at various members’ homes.
Senior Men’s Breakfast: Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Breakfast at Cracker Barrel on Little Mack in St. Clair Shores. Everyone is welcome.
Senior Adult Socials
A wide variety of seasonal social events such as summer barbecues, fall cider mill excursions and Detroit River lunch cruises.
Vacation Bible School: June
A week of Bible study and fun for children, ages 4 through grade 6, usually during the last week in June.
Late Summer Blast: August
Usually held in early August, children from VBS and others in the community are invited to one night of free food and games. Check the Events page for updates.
Children’s Worship: Every Sunday
After the first part of the church service, children are dismissed to participate in a class that teaches Bible stories and corresponding activities or crafts. Each year, the group performs in a Christmas and Easter program, and also leads an entire “adult” service with children participating as preachers, worship leaders, singers and more. Monthly activities include field trips and parties. Yearly fundraisers help cover costs.
LEGS (Ladies Engaged in God’s Service)
A group especially geared toward girls in grades 4-6. Activities include meeting in homes, pajama parties, community service. The group also focuses on the discussion of issues faced in adolescence.
Team Kid: Sundays at 6 p.m.
A Bible club for grades 1-6 involving games, crafts and prizes.
T.F.E. (Tattooed for Eternity): Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Youth Bible study and discussion group.
Eastgate Early Learning Center
Daycare for children from birth through pre-kindergarten. School age children accepted in summer as latchkey children.
LENDING A HELPING HAND
Food Pantry
A stock of church donated food items for disbursement to church family and community alike. Check the Events page for updates.
Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets
Church-donated baskets distributed to families in need, in both the church and community.
Dinners (Fellowship & Funeral)
In addition to church-wide dinners for various occasions, the church offers a free dinner following the funeral of either a church member or a member of the immediate family.
MISCELLANEOUS
Technology/ Computers
This group operates the sound room during the Sunday service, serves as Webmasters for this Web site and oversees the computer lab/theater. Computer classes, which have been offered to church members, will potentially be open to the community.
Music
Both vocalists (praise team) and instrumentalists (you name the instrument) are welcome to participate in Sunday morning worship and other occasions.
